Poetry From Ronnie Dean

Me
and My Dad
Me
and my Dad, went fishing one day
Early
in the morning, the sun lit our way
Didn't
talk much, but we listened close
To
mother nature, as it began to approach
Those
times were good and I won't forget
The
Love of my father and with no regrets
I'll
tell you now, as I begin to age
Those
memories are from, my best page
And
I hope someday, we can do it again
And
this time the Son Will Shine on us both
From
within

Don't
Try So Hard
I know
a man, who has his reasons
For
treating people, like they have no feelings
It
doesn't matter, at all to him
That
they hurt inside and just need a friend
I've
learned a lot, from this fellow
To
be who I am and try to be mellow
But
the thing I learned, most of all
Is
to let God in, when I hear Him call
I Can't
change this man and that's for certain
So
I'll live my life but I won't close the curtain
Because
if you try to hard, to change a life that you know
YOUR
OWN FAULTS THEN, BEGIN TO SHOW

The Dream
Early
on, in the years of my life
A picture
was shown, to me one night
God
knew that I wasn't doing so well
So
he gave me a picture, so I could tell
You
people out there, with jobs that you hate
You
have other gifts from God, on your plate
Don't
hate what you do, or do it for money
Because
being happy and peaceful
Is
God's gift, Good And Plenty

I hope you
enjoyed all the poems that you've read
It's about
time for me now, to go off to bed
These stories
I tell, are just truths from my life
My love
for people, is my everyday stride
So a thought
I will leave you
Until the
next time you come
THE
FATHER LOVES YOU ALL
Give
Praise To His Son
